Walnut Rocker/Cradle
Woodworker: Scott Morrison
Influenced by Windsor rockers of the 1700s and the work of Sam Maloof, Morrison built this walnut rocker/cradle as a design and construction challenge. Because the base and the rail of the cradle are asymmetrical, Morrison had to make 21 different spindles to connect the two. He finished the piece with tung oil and wax.
