Walnut Sculpted Rocker

Woodworker: Bill LindauNorth Carolina woodworker Bill Lindau designed and built this sculpted rocking chair in a style he calls “contemporary Maloof.” He modeled its shaply curves after the inconic chairs of Sam Maloof but added an asymmetry to the design. The backrests and the rockers are bent laminated. Some of the joinery incorporates screws. It is finished with multiple coats of wipe-on oil/varnish.
