Woodworker: Don Weber
Dubbed by Weber as a “Welsh left-handed writing armchair,” this piece started as a tradtional Welsh stick chair, but his client asked him to add a writing table. The extension is hand-dovetailed into the seat for support. It is constructed of elm, oak, hickory, pine and cherry. The finish is a mixture of marine spar varnish, tung oil, and gum turpentine.
