Windsor Chair
Woodworker: John Robinson
This tall sack-back Windsor-style chair is one of Robinson’s designs. Formerly a contractor, Robinson attended The Windsor Institute. “Driven by the help and encouragement of Mike Dunbar,’ says Robinson, “I was able to move from a job I did not like to making and teaching chairmaking here in Ontario full time.” The chair is made of cherry, oak and brown hickory. The finish is three coats of Danish oil and wax.
