Woodworker: Rebecca Yaffe
In designing the piece, Yaffe was led by “the demands of the room as well as the desire to impart something quiet and calm into the room.” The tabletop and gallery top have a plywood core veneered with kwila. The rest of the piece is solid kwila and maple. It is finished with shellac and wax.
