Work Bench

I got the idea for this bench from the fine woodworking video series getting started in woodworking, I made a few tweaks to the design to give the bench my own personal finish, for example i put a Red Deal edging strip around the bench top. I am awaiting a 7inch vice to finish this project and to add some holes for bench dogs.

Hey There,

I'm a newbie trying to make this bench. I'm struggling with a few things, one being that I accidentally drilled the holes for the washers and nuts that fasten onto the threaded rod closer to the outside edges of the legs, rather than closer to the inside edges for the long stretcher bars. Will this affect how my bench goes together?
