Flat Screen TV Stand

My new 50″ TV needed a grand stand to sit on so I pulled out my Fine Woodworking DVD and started my research. When I saw the rear cover of the Ocober 2007 Fine Woodworking Issue No. 193 I knew this is what my TV stand would be designed from.

I found some great curly womy maple at a local lumber yard for the top section which floats above the walnut stand.

Looks great in my den and my wife is happy with the results.
