Green and Greene Men’s Valet
Woodworker: Thomas Starbuck Stockton
The overall design of this men’s valet was inspired by the work of Charles and Henry Greene, although it is not a copy of any particular Greene and Greene piece. The size (16-1⁄2 in. deep by 28 in. wide by 36 in. tall) was dictated by a client, who “at the end of the day wanted to have a place to put essentials [where] they wouldn’t clutter his bedroom,” Stockton says. The piece is made of cherry and ebony, with mother-of-pearl details in the drawer pulls. The finish is oil and polyurethane.

Very nice interpretation of the style. I especially like the stretchers.
Great job, Mike
