Greene & Greene inspired coffee table. Mahogony with ebony detail.
The 36 x 60 inch dimensions were prescribed by my wife for this Greene and Greene inspired coffee table. Solid mahogany with ebony details; I included breadboard ends, cloud lifts on the aprons, ebony splines and pins to reinforce the joints. Darrell Peart’s book on Design Elements for the Workshop was a great resource. It’s finished with aniline dye and Waterlox.
