Cherry Urn

I built this cherry box to be used as an urn for the cremains of a relative. The box is made out of highly figured cherry. The sides are joined by hand-cut dovetails and the top and bottom are fielded raised panels. The urn is sized to fit into a burial vault made for urns. The box is finished with five coats of Waterlox.
