just started wood working
So I just got into wood working and decided that my first project should be a work bench since I have a limited space to use I chose to do the not so big workbench this seemed like a easy bench to make but was a little challenging for me at first because I don’t have all these fancy tools yet so this project took a little longer till i saved up some money for some tools. I loved working on this bench I learned a lot in this one project and learned some new skills with building sleds and jigs to help me build this bench I did have a little trouble at first with the boxes for the drawers because my table saw only rips 16 in and these of course were bigger than that ( I’m the works of saving for a nice table saw). but after many hours of building this I’m pleased with the way it came out I used dark walnut for my false fronts on the drawers because I just like the look of darker wood than the cherry they used in the plans and of coarse matched the plan stop and handle to the vise I used cheap handles for the drawers because I could get my self to spend over 100 bucks on just the brass finger pulls they used. once I save up some more I’m going to tackle the shaker hanging tool cabinet then i should be ready to enjoy this great hobby.
Thanks for looking, Dan

Your bench looks great, you certainly cant see any trouble spots in the photo. Nice job, cb
Very well done, indeed!!!
Very nice, ESP for a first project. I am envious! I'm wondering, though, how did you work? What sort of workbench system were you using?
Hope to hear back... I have the same project up and coming.
