Turned basket vase

This is a segmented vase turned from zebrawood and milo segments with a milo trim top. Although I didn’t plan it that way the effect of the combination of the zebra figure and the small milo segments created the look of a woven basket. I’ve just started turning segmented vessels and find that it is a great opportunity for creativity.

I am an electromechanical engineer from Romania and yet I can not afford (as a hobby) to buy a software .
