Nakashima inspired coffee table

For this table i used boiled linseed oil on the leg base as the primary finish and one coat of linseed oil on the slab before adding several coats of rockhard table top varnish. I really like some of the natural colors of the wood in this project, especially the front blackened wood. The butterfly keys were made from ebony.
