My cutting boards

These are a couple of cutting boards I made after looking at the beautiful boards made by Scott Lewis and watching his video. This project was a learning experience on the router table, planer and band saw. I made my cutting boards with curley maple, american walnut, yellow wood, purple heart and pudaka. The larger cutting board has outside bands of walnet and measures 11 x 17 in. The smaller version has only inside walnut band and measures 10 x 14 in.

Excellent job! Like you, I was also inspired from Scott's article but I have not tried it yet. I like the unique addition of the Walnut bands. Again...well done!!!
