Debi’s Live Edge Desk
A friend wanted a little nature brought into her design studio. A Texas pecan slab was transformed into her workstation through the addition of an African mahagony base supported with double tapered, wishbone legs. Arched aprons provide stability and knee space. The top was leveled with a tressel mounted router fitted with a large straight cutting bit (a la FW#222). Voids were filled with ebonized fiberglass resin followed by successive stages of sanding. finished with five coats of poly, and floated above the base with 3/4″ ebonized dowels.

That is gorgeous! I really like the arched legs too.
That is a nice table. You do beautiful work. I know you had a lot of finish time involved to make the top that nice.
