Box. This is Australian silky oak and Spalted jacaranda. My first try at something like this. Size 12ins (30cm) by 6ins wide(15cms) by 4ins high (10cms)

Frank gave me a heap of wood from a dead jacaranda tree for woodturning. The silky oak came from old windows. I used a Gifkins jig which I have just bought for the dovetails. I found the jacaranda difficult to work. I hope to do better next time.
