This is the Jefferson book stand that was built from Walnut wood that was going to the land fill, and Birds' Eye Maple inserts which I purchased
After seeing an episode of The Woodwright Shop I was intriqued by the Jefferson book stand that Roy Underhill was constructing. I decided that this would be a fun project to make. My book stand was completed by adding a Shaker base to support the unit.
