Jewelry Box
I made this jewelry box for my stepmother for her 70th birthday. I used dyed pearwood for the stringing. The monogram was carved in and filled with ebony dust mixed with epoxy, then leveled, sanded, water based dye and finished with lacquer.

I like your dye color. Can you tell me the recipe?
Sure, this is my favorite dye mix for tiger maple. I use J.E Moser's powder dyes: 32 grams medium yellow maple, 8 grams pilgrim maple, 1 qt. distilled water
This is a beautiful piece. I am sure it will be treasured for generations to come.
