Maple Library Ladder

Had a friend approch me to build him a ladder for his kitchen. Basically he stores Wine above his closet doors and needed soemthing to reach it. I ended up going with Maple because it tied into his Chop Block center island he has also made from maple.
I used Wedged Through Tenons for the joints between the Rails and Risers

It never ceases to amaze me to see the transition from rough lumber to elegant furniture. The esthetic of through tenon with the let in steps is very cool. Good design.
