First Project in 12 years. First Project larger then 3ft x 3ft. First project of actual complexity.
Rocking chair with removable rocker.
No plan used. Googled “rocking chair” and took inspiration from various designs. (probably will use actual plans next time).
Done as a baby shower gift for a friend who’s expecting.
Designed for an individual of larger stature.
Goal: a very sturdy yet artfully crafted chair.
Used mainly pine wood.
2 coats of dark stain.
Total time: ~60 hours
