Wood turned handmade vase made with Box Elder Burl top, hardwood base, and Dutch metal gilding with a patina finish. The rim features the natural edge of the burl giving the vase a distinctive and interesting form. The joint between the burl and the base overlaps in a mortise and tenon style construction and is very strong. This vase is finished with a high gloss clear coat that emphasizes the extraordinary color and pattern of the burl and patina.Measures approximately 15.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches across.
