Wenge Dining Table
Woodworker: Michael J.C. Holton
Asked to design a dining table, Holton originally drew one with a split down the middle of the top. But his client suggested that the split be in the legs instead. Holton liked that idea and produced this table (36 in. wide by 80 in. long by 30 in. tall). The split legs are joined top and bottom with stretchers. Holton made the table with wenge veneer over plywood and finished it with lacquer.
