This camera is an 8X10 copy of an E & H.T. Antony Camera from the wetplate era. African Mahogany with brass. The Anthony Company of New York supplied Matthew Brady with most of his equipment during the Civil War. It is a working Camera and was used by Mark Elson to take actual wetplate images for his book, “Battlefields of Honor: American Civil War Reenactors,” (Merrell Publishers
