Maple live edge bench

I made this bench from a slab of Western Red Maple. Its dimensions were chosen to fit a space, 38x 15. The left side support is from a continuation of the top. The right is from the other end of the slab, but was chosen to show the interesting edge and bird’s eye. The joinery is mortise and tenon. It is finished with wipe on polyurethane and neutral coloured shoe polish.
