Curved Front Desk without the curve

View from the front. I forgot to take a pic with the handles!
Some may say I am cheating, but it was my first furniture woodworking project and i thought the curve was beyond my experience. Plus I didn’t have a band saw. I learned so much on this desk. Great experience. I have found that I get an idea in my head, then scour websites and images, tear out pages from my magazines, then modify to my wood size or my size. This first project had a little of that.

Fitting drawers is the most difficult thing in the world when its your first time and no instruction. I wish I could say they are perfect. Oh well - next desk

Looks great, I did same straight front with rift sawn oak.
