Hickory stump stool

This was my first attempt at making something that you could sit on, for some reason i thought a stool would be easier than a chair…not so sure that was correct! It was definately a challenge and i learned a lot from this project, the next one will have some design changes but overal i am fairly happy with the end result. The legs were made from oak and the top is a hickory stump flattened using a router jig similiar to Nick Offermans, i sealed it with polyurethane.
