Walnut and Ambrosia Maple, inlaid, with splined, mitered corners. Purpleheart pull, inset on the larger box.
These boxes were built using re-purposed offcuts from a framing project. The sticks were ripped to height, then dadoed to allow for a solid maple bottom in each one. Both have lids inset without hardware and are made of walnut, ambrosia maple, and purpleheart. The larger box was designed to hold keepsakes and the smaller to hold salt for a kitchen application.
