Federal Entry Table

Finished the Federal entry table that my wife wanted for our foyer. The table was to match an antique secretary that she had inherited from her great aunt (last picture). This was my first Federal piece and I made a lot of mistakes but in the end I am happy with the way it came out. More importantly my wife is very happy. So much so that I have been given permission to convert our two car garage to a full time shop. (This did come with a long list of projects she would like me to build.)

The table is made of Honduran Mahogany with half crotch Mahogany veneer. Finish is shellac and wax.
