Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired Box
Woodworker: Daniel Zenefski
Inspiration for this walnut box, with Port Orford cedar lining, came from the Prairie School of architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright. Zenefski designed the box (6 in. deep by 18 in. wide by 3 in. tall) with a long, low profile and a subtle stair step similar to Wright’s Usonian homes. This box was Zenefski’s first piece and it took approximately 200 hours to design and build.
