This Krenov inspired cabinet was made from NZ Blackwood felled on our land and air dried.The doors are Mappa Burl with Tasmainian Blackwood door frame. The Cabinet is dovetailed with exposed pins & tails, handles figured Sycamore. In The Wood Extraordinaires exhibition held at the Earth House far north New Zealand. www.bespokefurnituremaker.co.nz

This Hall table was made from Recyled NZ Kauri and Ebonized Oak with Maple dowel pins. I used butter fly joints in Oak to tie the top planks together.

Exposed dovetails bevelled off to create a blending affect into the cabinet.

I really love your beveled dovetails. They remind me of tracked construction machinery, when you look at them from the long-view. I like this because dovetail joinery is mechanical. Really nice attention to detail.
