I designed the solid walnut cradle to either sit on the ground and rock, or in the stand, supported by the two tiger maple hearts. The cradle is about 37 inches long and 24 inches wide at the top (bottom fits a standard 18X36 inch cradle mattress). Wedged tenons hold the rails to the headboard and footboard securely without any mechanical fasteners. The cradle bottom is also solid wood; ship-lapped sections allow for wood movement. Maple wedges in the stand are removable for storage. Clear Waterlox finish.

Wedged tenons hold the rails to the headboard and footboard securely without any mechanical fasteners.
