Baltimore Card Table

Woodworker: Mario Rodriguez
Rodriguez, who helps run the Philadelphia Furniture Workshop, based this table (18 in. deep by 36 in. wide by 28 in. tall) on a Baltimore card table he’d seen in an antiques magazine. He used stringing to create balance and a sense of movement instead of employing the contrasting veneers and inlaid borders typical of the style. The finish is lacquer.
