Friends wanted to outfit their contemporary bedroom with mirrored pieces instead of more traditional designs. Based on photos they provided, I prepared designs for a dresser and matching nightstands.

The barreled sides of the night stands were vacuum formed with multiple layers of 1/8″ luan door skins and the remainder of the frame is MDF. The exposed elements of all pieces (other than the night stand sides) are maple, including the fifteen dovetailed drawers. 

The tops are fitted with recessed 5/16″ beveled glass mirrors framed with molded maple edges. The inlayed mirrors on the vertical surfaces are acrylic. The exteriors of the pieces are triple brush coated with platium metalic paint and the interiors with polyurethane.
