Floating stretcher live edge table

My customer selected this live edge walnut slab from the stock at Berkshire Products in Sheffield MA. The base is shop made walnut veneer over Baltic birch ply. The center panel in the ends is 1/2″ mar and scratch resistant acrylic. The stretcher threads through a u shaped through mortise in the acrylic to give the appearance that it is floating.
