Piecrust Table
I was asked by a client to make something from some mahogany she had left from a table in the galley of a 36′ sailboat she and her husband had used to said around the world. Her husband had died and she wanted something to remember him by after she sold the boat. It was made in England around 1900 and there was enough wood for me to use to make the top. I turned the three columns from a piece of mahogany that I had sitting in my shop for the past 10 years.
