Quarter Circle
This hall table was a commissioned piece after the people had seen a similar table I had built which was only 48 inches in length. This piece is 60 inches in length and 13 inches deep, standing 30 inches tall.
The top is Maple which I aquired from Berkshire Wood Products. It took a lot of looking on the web to find just the right piece at the correct length, with some nice figure.
The base is laminated Mahogany, Ebonized and the carcass is Cherry with Curly Maple drawers.
The Cherry carcass is made of 1/2 inch material and is only 3 inches tall. The top and sides are joined with through dovetails.
You may ask why I call it the quarter circle. It is to do with the shape of the base
