Mesquite and Mahogany Console

A commisioned piece to provide a rustic TV console formed from a single bark-on, kiln dried mesquite slab. The 6ft slab was halfed, one half flipped to conform to the arch of the first and both halves fitted into mahogany block posts with mortise and tenon joints. Voids were inlayed with turquoise chips and the piece finished with polyurethane.
