Two tiered 'bar hieght' cherry counter top on the island with nautical themed support system. Installed to allow movement (elongated screw pathways). Finished in marine varnish, my preference for counter tops.

Pull-out shelves with a 3-D swept pull.
Swept pull detail. Half-blind dovetails are hand-cut, the lip is added after assembly.
The vanity drawers (same project) were done slightly different. The square cherry pegs were added to the rabbeted corners for strength with the added bonus result...a pleasing esthetic.
