Japanese Handkerchief Box
This Japanese Handkerchief Box is a piece of magician’s apparatus. A silk scarf vanishes and reappears in a box consistently shown empty. The box is made from Honduras mahoghany with a plexiglass tray base. I suspect the name was originally used by a magic dealer to suggest the mysteries of the orient. The design is a classic one as interpreted by me.
