Faro Casekeeper
Replica of casekeeper used in the game of Faro to monitor cards played. Faro was the most popular game in the United States from the time of the Civil War until early in the twentieth century.
Made from South American Hardwood. Single dovetail joints at corners. The beads on brass rods would originally have been made of clay but here were individually turned of contrasting woods.
