Woodworker: Ed Neu
This reproduction of an 1876 No. 7 Mt. Lebanon Shaker rocker (32 in. deep by 26 in. wide by 43 in. tall) won Best Traditional Piece. It is one of three in a set made by Neu, all reproduced from drawings by 20th-century cabinetmaker Ejner Handberg. The chair is curly maple with a woven cotton Shaker tape seat. The finish is aniline dye and shellac.
