Sword stand

My son, who is an acomplished martial artist, was recently awarded a real sword. He wanted something better than the ordinary sword stand. We felt a sword “floating in fire” would be more interesting.
The “fire” is carved paduk, the top of the base is wenge and the bottom of the base is figured maple.
