QS White Oak Master Bath Vanity
I designed this contemporary arts and crafts-style vanity for my daughter as part of the master bath renovation I’m doing in her 1949 bungalow. The cabinet sides and bottom are oak veneered plywood. Everything else is QS white oak with a dark walnut dye and hickory stain. My new Kreg Foreman worked extremely well for all those slats on the open shelf, as well as for the rails and stiles of the case and attaching everything to the legs. She wanted a dark finish and the combination allowed the ray fleck to pop. I used laminated glass in the doors for safety. The top is a leather-finished granite. The best part is that she’s thrilled with the finished project!
