Another one for my bride. Built to her specifications to sit at the end of a sofa. I built this out of cull cherry cabinet doors from a local cabinet shop. A lot cheaper than lumber from the local supply. The bottom drawer was a little lighter than the other two so, since cherry is light sensitive, I put the lower drawer in the window for a few days and by the time I applied the finish, the color was virtually identical. This photo is the completed project before the finish was applied. I used a 50/50 mix of polyurethane and mineral spirits. I’ll post the finished product as soon as I have time to take the photos.
