Baptismal Font

My church commissioned me to design and produce a baptismal font for our Genesis Hall so that new members from our Genesis community could be baptized. Our pastor gave me some insight in what he was looking for and we proceeded to sketch and finally approve a design that matched the theme from a scripture in the bible. The font is made out of 8/4 cherry with a silver bowl. It fits well with the podium that was made for the Genesis Hall earlier this year. It was a fun project!

The podium is made out of cherry and walnut. Cherry sides with a walnut front. The table top is also made of cherry and walnut sandwiched together.
