Seymour Work Table

This Table is inspired by the work of John and Thomas Seymour. The top is made of a basswood lumber core veneered with crotch mahogany. The base is poplar, veneered with quartered mahogany and birdseye maple. Brown ebony, dyed black wood and dyed white wood make up the crossbanding surrounding the birdseye maple. The reeding on the mahogany legs was done using a router and scratch stock. Blonde shellac was used as the finish on the table.
