A promise fullfilled in exchange for letting me have the more effecient gas stove vs a fireplace. We got our inspiration after a visit to a local archetectural salvage store. We decided we could build precisely what we wanted rather than make an old one “work”. In addition I was able to utilize some less than desirable oak because it was going to be painted anyway.
