love it, but I have one question. is the pediment on the right side thinner to fit around the door frame? I really like the way it does that. Was it planed?
No it is not thinner but pediment was just in mortised a few inches forward to clear the door frame and yes the entire piece was made to fit this space. The piece's french cleat is even with the back of the sides and is hid behind the pediment.
