Modern Desk with Tapered Laminations

Woodworker: Peter Michelinie
In place of traditional stretchers, Michelinie used bent tapered laminations to join this desk’s legs for improved stability. He said the design came out of his “love/hate relationship with the ever-popular Mid-Century Modern” style.
