Another father/son project. Mostly my son… very proud watching him work his way through a project… drawing out the plans, making the measurements, doing the cuts and assembling it all together. I did all the staining but the hard work was all my son. Very proud of you Andrew!!

My son's idea of adding metal pipe for the speaker stands was genius! Really a cool idea and ended up looking fantastic!!
Mixing different woods was new for us. Oak table top with cedar legs. The stained knotty legs were amazing! And the feel of the legs after we added a couple of coats of poly urethane... so cool. The texture is still there but no splinters!!
Stunning masterpiece! The legs do look flawless even though you mentioned there is still visible texture which adds a personal touch to it. I really enjoy working on family collaboration projects like this not just for desks but for other furniture pieces as well like storage cabinets, drawers and other creations providing solutions to our space problem.
